What is hot?
The Program Committee would like to highlight some of the hot speakers this year.
@apaipi wants to see Jon Tirsen:
"Because I am curious about what it is like to build applications on
Google scale"
@drkrab wants to see Henrik
Wann Jensen: "Of course I want to see how he
created the skin of Gollum and the Na'vis with his cool "simulation
of
light" algorithms"
@drkrab also wants to see Rod Johnson: "Since he is the Father of Spring; pushing IoC to the limit."
@karlkrukow wants to see Rich Hickey: Took a self-funded sabbatical to create the beautiful, practical, fast and well-founded programming language, Clojure. Rich is a fantastic speaker with great depth, and learning Clojure it is an enlightening continuing process where, as you go deeper and deeper, you see more and more connections between its language constructs. Also, Clojure made me change the way I program Java (making my programs more robust and safe :-)

@karlkrukow wants to see Cliff Click: A fantastic speaker, and a guru on JVM platforms, concurrency and more low-level hardware (e.g. CPU design). Any of his talks are "must-sees": and guaranteed to have great depth.
