Time: Friday 10:20 - 11:05

Location: Ballroom Le Grand 2

Abstract: Web 2.0 is one of the hottest things on the consumer Web, but where does it fit into business? What's the business value? And how can companies use new Web 2.0 mashups to bring value to their line-of-business users and their bottom line? You'll hear answers to all of this and more from Rod Smith, IBM Fellow and Vice President of the IBM Emerging Internet Technologies group. Rod will discuss what IBM is doing in the Web 2.0 mashup space, give a demonstration of an IBM mashup maker, and share lessons he's learned from joint Web 2.0 development projects with various IBM customers.
