Workshop: Tweet"Zero to Swift: Build an iOS App with Apple's New Language"
Apple's new ‘Swift’ programming language is destined to become the de-facto standard for writing apps for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
The introduction of a new language presents a great opportunity to learn to develop iOS apps using Apple's venerable frameworks as well as pick up a language that combines the modern trends of functional and strongly-typed programming styles. This hands-on training will guide you through the complete development of an iPhone app using Swift.
You must possess a laptop with Mac OS 10.10 and the latest versions from Xcode from the Mac App Store installed, and you should be familiar with a modern programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript. Previous experience with Objective-C is not required.
