George Franzen

Franzen brings more than 15 years of development, design, and technical engineering experience to Versant. Responsible for all engineering and technology functions within the company, Franzen joined Versant from Plexus. While there, he was responsible for design and development of operating systems, relational databases, and multi-processor hardware products for the UNIX market. Before Plexus, Franzen was responsible for all system software development for the industry's first large-scale multi-processor system at Synapase Corporation. Prior to that, Franzen spent nine years at Data General Corporation producing a variety of operating system products.
