John O'Hara, AMQP Working Group

John O'Hara is an executive director and distinguished engineer in JPMorgan's investment bank technology division in London. He has over 15 years of commercial computing experience and has successfully delivered many large scale technology projects at the bank across the firm's business lines including equities, F&O, prime brokerage, rates and fixed income. John is the originator of AMQP and currently holds the chair of the AMQP Working Group which collectively owns the protocol. John graduated with a BSc Honours degree in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering from Aston University.
