Eik Thyrsted Brandsgård, LEGO

Eik Thyrsted Brandsgård is a software producer for Robotics Software at the LEGO Company. He is currently leading the on going development of the MINDSTORMS NXT Software, part of LEGO's robotics continuum that also includes the recently announced WeDo robotics platform. During Eik?s years at LEGO he has also been project manager on new business projects such as LEGO Digital Designer and LEGO Factory. The LEGO Robotics Software Group aims to expand the robotics platform to all ages, combining play and learning with toys, science and technology. Prior to joining the LEGO group Eik studied Humanistic Informatics at the University of Aalborg followed by a position as project manager at Zenaria, developing customized e-learning solutions for a number of large danish and international organizations.
