David Ezzio, BEA
Dave first developed software in the sixties, writing spaghetti code to analyze the outcomes of French elections. Since then, he helped develop an office productivity suite, a neural network character recognition product, infrastructure for networked software, and n-tier Web applications. He has design products, led teams, managed projects, and bought the pizza in settings as diverse as small startups, large global corporations, government agencies, and family owned businesses. He has worked exclusively with Java since 1997. He authored "Using and Understanding Java Data Objects," and participated in the early work on JDO 2.0. After working as a consultant and contractor for more than fifteen years, he joined the Kodo team in 2005. Since then, he has spent most of his time helping customers with their designs and applications and developing and teaching courses on Kodo, JDO, and JPA. Dave has a degree in mathematical logic from Yale, and a degree in philosophy from the University of Chicago.
