iBeacon Training Course
Brand new Course suitable for developers who would like to learn more about the power of iBeacons and how to use it there applications! Get a practical insight about iBeacons during this 1 day intense Course. Learn how to unleash their potential in different business environments, for both iOS and Android devices. This is a technical hands-on workshop that includes live coding and testing, but which can be of interest to marketing teams, product managers and other decision makers with coding skills.

- Hands on using several different ibeacons available on the market.
- Code for iOS and Android shown and tested live.
Synopsis of the Program
- Morning: theory, specs, setup. Development of a custom app for both iOS and Android consuming iBeacons. For iOS devices, the possibility of turning a device into an iBeacon.
- Afternoon: analysis of case studies, usability and UX issues, security, privacy, power, management, provisioning, etc.
Who is giving the course?
Adrian Kosmaczewski is a software developer, trainer and book author working for Trifork Switzerland. He has shipped mobile, web and desktop apps for iOS, Android, Mac OS X, Windows and Linux since 1996. Adrian has been teaching developers about new technologies since 2003, and specifically about mobile app development since 2009, in Switzerland, South Africa, Berlin and Amsterdam. Adrian is the author of “Mobile JavaScript Application Development” and “Sencha Touch 2 Up and Running”, both published by O’Reilly. He has studied physics in Switzerland, economics in Buenos Aires, and holds a Master in Information Technology with a specialization in Software Engineering from the University of Liverpool.
“I am giving the course with the intention to pass knowledge from developers to developers. For me it about the practical approach; theory is only there to support the practice. Therefore I try to give lots of interaction during my course with the opportunity to ask questions, to debug your code live and to learn from examples”.
