Hacker Jonas S Karlsson, Google

Hacker Jonas S Karlsson Jonas designs and implements database kernels, and scalable distributed storage. He's worked on implementing DB2 in 200KB for the Palm Pilot and other embedded devices. In 2004 he joined Google, where he worked in the ads backend, was one of the original creators of Google Megastore, and is currently working in the Google Sydney office on a yet to be announced product. When he does not work, he is trying to figure out how to integrate work, programming, Zen meditation, and life. He occasionally hacks on his functional declarative optimizing query programming language. Getting a motorcycle again might be on the agenda.
