Java is now open source and the jvm is opened up to be a platform for many interesting languages. The Oracle purchase of Sun makes it difficult to see into the future. What is the next step, and can we make it happen?

James Gosling, Kevlin Henney and Dave Thomas have accepted to join the discussion, so we are pretty sure we will have a qualified and interesting discussion.
