During this talk Thomas Kristmar will give an overview of the current threat picture and discuss how the majority of threats that fills the mainstream media can be mitigated using known techniques. That is particularly true in the mobile applications space where mobile applications are prone to security flaws that existed in the desktop environment 15 years ago. In the last part of the talk Thomas will discuss consequences to society of the current approach to security in software development.
