Biography: Georges Saab

Georges Saab has been involved in development of VM based libraries and languages since the late 80s. He was an early contributor to Java at Sun where he was an engineer on the AWT team for JDK 1.1 and founding member of the Swing team (and the one who gave Swing its name). More recently, Georges led the JRockit team at BEA Systems and is now the Vice President of Software Development, Java Platform Group.
