Presentation: DevOps: Entire solutions as deployable units with Azure Resource Manager

Track: Microsoft Azure a.k.a. the Cloud / Time: Tuesday 13:20 - 14:10 / Location: Rosenborg

Deploying and configuring an entire cloud infrastructure can be a daunting task, especially if you have to repeat it multiple times. Replicating the entire infrastructure to other environments while maintaining tight change management process makes it even harder. Automation is required for a predictable and efficient release cycle.

Azure Resource Manager (ARM) is a provisioning engine that provisions resources specified in a template. In the process, ARM maintains component relations and configurations. In the presentation, we will look at how to author templates and how to use ARM deploy and maintain a cloud infrastructure.
