Richard Lander is a Principle Program Manager Lead on the Core .NET Team at Microsoft. He graduated from the University of Waterloo (Canada) in 2000 and went straight to work at Microsoft. Richard has worked on many aspects of .NET (joined team in 2003), including integration with Windows, .NET application model and customer communication. Today, Richard focusses on the .NET Core open source project, cross-platform .NET with ASP.NET 5 and partnerships with other .NET companies (Xamarin, Unity).
