Biography: Tom Santero

Tom Santero is a Technical Evangelist for Basho Technologies, creators of the open-source distributed database Riak. In this role, Tom spends his time educating engineers and architects on all things Riak. Prior to joining Basho, he spent several years in the finance industry in equity sales and trading. Passionate about open-source software and technology, Tom has been programming for over a decade and in his spare time can be found building automated trading systems.
