Polyglot Programming

Track abstract
No man is an island, and no software service consists of a sole executable. Software systems consists of a multitude of technologies interacting to perform a service. Programmers used to have to know a couple of languages along with SQL to solder together an application. These days we mix JavaScript, CoffeeScript, CSS, Java, Ruby, Erlang, Haskell, Clojure, Scala and countless other programming languages to create our software. Some of them on the backend, some on the front, and some on both. This track explores the benefits associated with becoming a polyglot programmer - and what the hidden price for doing polyglot programming is.
