Chris Matts, Originator of the Agile Analysis approach named "Feature Injection", Don Reinertsen, one of the leading thinkers in the emerging field of lean product development and Michael Nygard, Author of "Release It!"

Chris Matts and Don Reinertsen both represent the expert league in each of their fields and they have promised to share and discuss some of their points of view in this two hour event.

At JAOO Chris will talk about "Real Options - as the underlying principle of Agile". Chris is a Project Manager and Business Analyst with more than ten years experience developing business critical applications. 
 
Don has worked with leading product development organizations for over 30 years. He is the author/co-author of three best selling books on product development. His first two books, Developing Products in Half the Time, and Managing the Design Factory, are product development classics. His latest book, The Principles of Product Development Flow: Second Generation Lean Product Development, has been called, “quite simply the most advanced product development book you can buy.”.   

Michael has  spent the better part of 20 years learning what it means to be a professional programmer who cares about art, quality, and craft. He is widely recognized for his book "Release it! Michael´s talk about "When the Fur Flies: Dev and Ops Cooperation when the Worst Happens" is focusing on learning points coming out of a failed launch.
 
Chris and Don will each give a short personal introduction and comment on a set of questions related to agile development. The schedule is 2x20 minutes for each presentation.

After a short break we continue with a 1 hour panel taking questions from the attendees, creating an exciting and heated debate between the audience and panel. Both Chris, Don and Michael will take part of the panel discussion.
 
The following questions will be addressed during the presentations and under the panel talk:
 
1.       How should customers/management establish a decision process to achieve the best ROI on their dev. projects, budgets, business cases, feature costs/values etc.
2.       How do you prioritize and make sure your team work on the right requirements?
3.       Not all external clients are able to participate in the dev. process. How do you cope, and how to produce the right product?
4.       When is a product good enough - feature wise, quality wise and abilities wise?
5.       How can you create a good architecture initially when you only know a sketch of the final requirements?
