Presentation: Maersk Line: A case study in large scale lean-agile adoption

Track: The Agile Goodie Bag / Time: Wednesday 10:35 - 11:30 / Location: KeynoteRoom

Maersk Line is the largest shipping company in the world and consequently Maersk Line IT is responsible for some of the largest and most critical 24/7 systems around. This talk covers experiences and learnings from two approaches Maersk Line IT has taken to adopting lean & agile development techniques. The first approach covers Maersk Line's application to a large (150+ people) new development. The second approach discussed is a more systematic approach in applying selected techniques to core legacy systems to improve both the cycle time and the value of the output of the development pipeline.
