Real life Clojure

Track abstract

Everyone knows that Lisp is vastly superior and gives INFINITE power ;) Now let's show it!

Clojure has seen a massive rise in popularity the last couple of years, probably due to its uncompromising strive to provide simplicity and power, enabling developers to focus on the problems of their domain rather than incidental complexity induced by tools and high-ceremony languages. Recently, Clojure has extended its reach massively with the ClojureScript project compiling Clojure to JavaScript, making 'real-life' Clojure programming even more pure and palatable. This track will focus on why you would want to use Clojure, including examples of real production systems written in Clojure.
