Augmented Data

Host
Brian Sletten
Track abstract
There is a lot of talk these days about data. Big Data in particular is all the buzz. Beyond being able to store and query all of this data, however, is the need to identify it, request it on demand and connect it to other data. Systems that embrace the Web architecture are more predisposed to being able to flexibly handle all of this new data. Efforts like the Linked Data Project and technologies like RDF, OWL and SPARQL are allowing us to connect, query and do inference over huge data sets more easily than ever before. This track will talk about how these ideas impact you both on the Web and in the Enterprise.
