Presentation: TweetHow GitHub Builds Products
GitHub didn't start out as a company, but instead as a group of developers working on some open source projects. Through time, these projects helped us become the company we are today. The way we build things continues to employ an open source mentality, and we continue to use GitHub as the best way to design, build, and ship software, together.
By working with existing open source projects to start your company or your new internal project, you can ease the burden of starting something from the ground up. In this talk, you'll learn how to leverage the power of GitHub and the open source community to shift your focus to your core value proposition and your company culture instead of all of the setup and legwork that might otherwise have bogged you down.
